As the Call of Duty League approaches the conclusion of the 2023 regular season and the beginning of Champions, everything is greater in Texas and so are the stakes. With only two more Majors left in the season, Major Three in Texas marks the halfway point.

The OpTic-hosted competition will take place at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will feature a double-elimination format with all 12 CDL teams in attendance. However, the bottom four teams in that bracket—the Florida Mutineers, Minnesota RKKR, London Royal Ravens, and Vegas Legion—will begin that bracket in the lower half.

The Atlanta FaZe remain in the lead with a significant advantage over the rest of the field in the CDL standings going into the third Major, followed by the New York Subliners, Toronto Ultra, L.A. Thieves, and OpTic. The L.A. Guerrillas, Vegas, Florida, and London are the four teams that are now last in the standings.

The winning team will receive the majority of the prize money and CDL points ($200,000 and 65 CDL points) this weekend. In Texas, a total of $500,000 will be at stake. All contests will be best-of-five, with the exception of the championship match, which will be best-of-seven.

I would like to congratulate Toronto Ultra on an amazing run and win they played unbelievable call of duty this event. I had so much fun watching and congratulate Optic on the crazy run through losers bracket to reach grand finals and running such a fun and memorable major for us fans to watch as a faze fan third hurts but it means Atlanta Faze stay top of the overall leaderboard going into major 4 and leading up to Champs
