Run It Up - Call of Duty League

The publisher of the video game franchise Call of Duty, Activision, created the Call of Duty League (CDL), a professional Esports league in 2019 this league was really expensive for teams to enter as the league had a buy in of 25 million but not only that you had to make a brand hire analysts and head coach's and then pick up a team or a group of players that the franchises would hoping they could win and build the best team. local teams supported by various ownership groups. Moreover, the league uses a tournament point system and playoff structure as opposed to the traditional use of promotion and relegation in other esports and other sports a minimum annual salary of $50000, per player including your substitute player, benefits, and revenue-sharing based on the team's performance are all guaranteed to the players on the roster most player are on over six figures by now though. The way the league/ format is done 2 teams of four will play in a best of 5 format with different games types to play the first team to win 3 games out of 2 hardpoints, one control, 2 Search and destroys, win the match and the winning team earn 10 points towards the overall league table were you place after three weeks of grueling online match's you get seeded for the events playing online league match's for the 5 majors of the year. Majors are massive tournament and the end of the month hosted by one of the twelve team some of the teams have massive fallowing's in the Esports world so when they host a major it is amazing the fan go wild if you win the major it is worth 50 points to your overall league scoring system but the money you would earn for winning isn't  bad either a major win is worth $200000

I hope you enjoyed my introduction to the CDL next week I would like to go over the different game modes and maybe the teams and remember to always Run It Up.
